Eviston House Hotel - Killarney

The Eviston House Hotel in Killarney is in an absolutely fabulous location, close to the national park, the center, and a pub next door. The staff are exceptional, with a friendly and welcoming receptionist.

Breakfast was very good, English breakfast on order (incl. when booking), Continental was ok, the location was fantastic, right in the middle of the city, hence the point of criticism: the hotel's own parking lot was overcrowded and difficult to access (very narrow corridor); gym was lean, room big, bathroom a little run-down; in the evening great live music in the hotel's own restaurant, good bar.

The hotel is located in the middle of Killarney, parking is available not far from the hotel. The staff was very friendly, the food was good. We were there on a Sunday evening when a solo entertainer played live music.

Conveniently situated near Fitzgerald Stadium in a fantastic location.

Ridiculous entrance to tiny car park. Listening to Zumba music blaring into the room from the gym right across from room 240. Lack of personal touch from reception. Walking through a nightclub, then a bar to get from the car park to receptionwas a first.

Very noisy outside our bedroom and people up and down corridor all night. Twice someone tried to open our room door.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Killarney, close to numerous bars, restaurants, shops, and pubs. It is just a short walk away from the Irish Whiskey Experience.

easy to find, directly connected to pub, lift, spacious rooms, suitcase storage before check-in was possible

Toilet flushing was very loud and washed for a very long time, corridors to rooms are very confusing and like a maze, staff in pub ignored us and food was unfortunately not very good

The location is one of the best aspects of this hotel as is the service and friendliness of all the staff. This is the second time I stayed at this hotel, what you get is the best of what killarney and kerry has to offer which is very friendly people with good pub grub and most of all great craic

The hotel had a marvellous and lovely location just steps away from Coolwood Wildlife Park. The staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service in the bar area.

Cleaning lady walked into room without letting me answer the door. Very long walk from rooms to reception. Hotel Parking is hard to get so he to get the paid parking which is a couple of mins walk away.

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff here were friendly and helpful, and we loved having complimentary drinks at the main bar in the evening, making it a great experience.

3 males staying for one night booked into triple room for €149 for the room with only a very small double bed to share for two and one other single bed. Everyone should surely be given their own bed. A triple room should be 3 single beds at least. Sharing should not be assumed or required especially at these rates. Very disappointing and no regard for such disappointment by staff.

Bank holiday and rally weekend produced a noisy and over-indulged clientele. This included an ongoing domestic two rooms away

Car park entrance . We had rear bedroom and noise from party goers in an alley at rear of car park was very noisy between 2.30 - 3.00 AM. Also hotel decor rather dated.
